This page contains a number of pieces of software I have created which may be of interest to other clubs or other people interested in Athletics. For more information on anything on this page then please feel free to e-mail.

Team Southampton Results Database
The Database I use to generate club Rankings and Progression, download if you want do do your own data manipulation.
Instructions:
The database is written in Access though (for my ease) only contains a single table, manipulate the data as you would with any other database. In order to run the macros it is necessary to have the correct references enabled in your visual basic. Note that this version of the database will lag behind the real website somewhat.

Team Southampton Open Meeting Software
System allowing computerisation of club open meetings, enabling easier enterring of results and prettier formatting of output. Will also generate output for the web.
Instructions:
There are Three Sheets, On the first enter all the Athletes names, clubs, numbers e.t.c. On the second sheet, for each result enter the Athlete numbers and performances (which will automatically populate the names and clubs) - then press the 'Record Result' button, this will transfer the result to the Third sheet. This third sheet is the formatted output of all results recorded that day.

Team Southampton Automated Scoring System
Fully customisable results system used to score league matches. Can work for most leagues with tweaking but can be automatically configured to score BAL, UKWL, SML, SWL, NYAL and Wessex League matches (i.e. those leagues in which Team Southampton competes).
Instructions:
There is a help file available from the main 'Automated Scoring' page but I'm afraid it is somewhat out of date.

Jantathlon Scoring System
Mini multi-events scoring system designed for an end of season training group competition.
Instructions:
We have been using this system since 2003 and this is the latest iteration, I have left the existing data in the system as an example but delete the names / times from 2006 and enter your own data - Event scores / Gender comparison is as fair as I can make it(!)
Download 2006 System. There are also results from previous Jantathlons 2005, 2004, 2003.
