Probably about the last event of the year on the local circuit. The Portsmouth Joggers Pub2Pub road run at Horndean on Monday December 27th only just survived the weather. A revised course had to be utilised as the long hill section was too dangerous due to the ice. So a 2 lap event covering a distance of about 5 miles(and probably a bit more) along icy country lanes, fortunately very well marshalled especially at problem sections of the course. Nikki Blandford had no problem coping with conditions to be first woman home.
