With sunny weather and light winds the six Team Southampton runners in this edition of the Marwell 10 made best use of the conditions to post good times.
The course which uses the small lanes around Marwell zooligical park provided a good test of stamana with four long hills to overcome. Thankfully the circuit did not go through the lion or leopard enclosures and there were also no reports of escaped animals on the course.
Becky Mulley was the first of our runners to finish in a pb time of 47:13, she was followed by Trevor Gregory who had perhaps been hampered by the 55mile cycle ride the day before (sorry Trev, I'll do a slower, less hilly ride next time).
Energy and fluid levels were topped up with a picnic following the race.
