Owen Harries in an excellent debut was the first of 6 Team Southampton runners in this years Flora London marathon. First woman for the club Sally Gilbert was 4 minutes faster than last year. Emyr Morgan & Louise Steel both suffered in the 25 degree heat. Rebecca Mulley & Bethan Kidd both ran their first marathons, Bethan not running for the last 3 weeks was probably the happiest finisher.

Mini Marathon
All ran 2.65 Miles, Team Southampton had 9 runners selected to represent Hampshire, over a quarter of the team at the Flora London Mini Marathon. All staying overnight in some of the capital's finest 5 star hotels, then driven to the start of their race.
