 Location & Directions

Southampton Athletic Club are based at Southampton Sports Centre. The synthetic, eight lane track was opened on August 17th 2000 where it played host to the Millennium Youth Games from August 17th to August 20th. The facility consists of changing rooms (in block 1), floodlights and covered seating for an estimated 100 people. The track has a Steeplechase water jump which is adjustable in both height and length to hold both men and women's races... but as men and women now use the same distance this is somewhat more of a point of interest.

Track Charges:
 - As of 1st April 2008

Junior (Under 18): £1.70
Adult: £2.40
A Book of 12 tickets is also available for the following prices:
Junior (Under 18): £17.00
Adult: £24.00
Track Charges are reviewed on an annual basis with any changes taking place on the 1st April. (Don't start laughing at the attendant saying 'good April fool' like I did one year!)

Note that Southampton Athletic club does not condone the deliberate avoidance of paying the track fee.
